第1章:Aero-acoustic Simulation of a HVAC Duct

第2章:Acoustic Radiation Analysis

During this webinar you will first get introduced to the main features of Actran. Then, the webinar will focus on the use of Actran for Acoustic Radiation Analysis. A typical application example is the prediction of the noise radiated by a powertrain, a gearbox or any vibrating structure. This type of simulation is what is called a weakly coupled vibro-acoustic analysis, where the dynamic behavior of the structure is computed with MSC Nastran in a first step and the acoustic radiation is computed with Actran in a second step. You will discover the underlying assumptions as well as the key ingredients of the related Actran model. The webinar will also include a live demo.

第3章:Introduction to Actran for Vibro-Acoustic Analysis

This webinar will provide an overview of the main features of Actran with special focus on coupled vibro-acoustic problems and its rich library of elements, materials, boundary conditions and solution schemes, which enable users to perform coupled and uncoupled analyses in both frequency and time domains. Typical applications include noise transmission through an aircraft fuselage panel or an automotive side window, coupling between shell noise and pipe noise of an exhaust system, acoustic efficiency of a loudspeaker or vibration & noise attenuation of any system using porous media such as foams or rock wool. You will discover the major ingredients of Actran to tackle this kind of problems. The webinar will also include a live demo.

第4章:Introduction to Actran for Aero-Acoustic Analysis

This webinar will focus on the use of Actran for performing aero-acoustic analysis. Examples of applications cases include the noise generated by air conditioning modules (HVAC) such as automotive instrument panels ducts or blowers, aircraft airframe noise like the landing gear system or other types of noise generated by a flow impacting an obstacle such as a car side mirror. For such application, Actran recovers aerodynamic noise sources from unsteady flow simulations performed with major commercial CFD solvers using the concept of acoustic analogy. During this webinar this concept as implemented in Actran will be introduced along with the different steps of the simulation process. The webinar will also include a series of cases studies, including an aero-vibro-acoustic example.

第5章:Noise Attenuation_ Model Poro-elastic Materials using Actran

This webinar will provide an overview of the Actran, a pioneering acoustics software, in modeling those poro-elastic materials. The so-called Biot properties required to characterize the mechanical behavior of the porous components will be explained. Several applications examples of numerical models involving poro-elastic elements will be presented. The webinar will also include a live demo.

This webinar will provide an overview of the Actran capabilities in modeling these intake and exhaust systems, including a review of all the ingredients listed above. Several applications examples of numerical models will be presented. The webinar will also include a live demo.

第7章:Actran R13.0 Release Highlights

This webinar provides an overview of the release highlights of Actran R13.0. The new release offers improved performance, several ease of use features and multiple new capabilities. Some of the new capabilities include support for new boundary conditions and elements, ability to directly listen to the computed sound pressure levels and other post-processing enhancements. Users can also translate the information from Nastran input files into equivalent Actran data blocks and map CFD results that are either periodic in space or symmetric.

第8章:Automate your Actran Simulations using the API (Scripts & Sessions)

During this webinar you will first get introduced to the main features of the Actran Application Programming Interface (API) for pre-and post-processing steps of a CAE analysis. Then the webinar will focus on the use of this API through scripts and sessions for different purposes, such as saving an actual state of the Graphical User Interface, re-launching a part of a post-processing step, automating your Actran simulations or performing parametric studies. For that purpose, you will also discover how the features contained in the Actran VI GUI can be included in a session file to be used further in automated steps. The webinar will also include a live demo.

Noise radiation by vibrating structures is an important factor of consideration in design of products like gearbox, engines, and electronic devices. Simulation helps users better understand the noise radiation into the environment, so that their acoustic performance can be improved and noise pollution reduced, along with improving the product life. This webinar will provide an overview of acoustic radiation analysis capabilities of Actran, a pioneering acoustic simulation solution from FFT, an MSC Software Company. The webinar includes a demo with an introduction to modeling and post-processing capabilities of Actran, including computation of sound pressure level, sound power level, structure panel contribution factor, and structure element contribution.
